Tayah O'Dell

Therapeutic Specialist and Intake Co-Ordinator

As a therapeutic specialist and aspiring clinical psychologist, Tayah aims to support children in their journey toward achieving their therapeutic goals in an evidence-based play environment. Tayah is passionate about creating a playfully engaging and supportive environment for children to explore challenging emotions. She is passionate about helping children express themselves in their own unique ways to help support their development Tayah is a member of the APS and has extensive experience working with children as a group therapy facilitator, a bereavement support worker with Very Special Kids, and as a swimming teacher. Tayah also enjoys competing at a national level as a competitive swimmer and loves creative arts.
Qualifications:

Tayah has completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology majoring in child and family psych, and is commencing her research year in Psychology in 2024.

  • AutPlay Therapy Certification – currently completing
  • Synergetic Play Therapy training (ongoing)
  • Honours in Psychology – commencing 2024
